Mr. Louis V. Borriello, age 65, husband of Ann Marie Borriello, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.
Born on July 7, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, Louis was the son of the late Vincent Borriello and Grace Cucinotta Borriello.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked twenty-five years for General Motors before retiring in 2006. Louis married Ann Marie Adamik on June 23, 1983, and together they had one son, Louis Borriello, Jr. He enjoyed watching wrestling and Nascar and eating out and having dinner with friends. He had a special love for his beloved dogs, his girls, Cookie, Mandy, and Bella. Louis was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Borriello of Columbia, son, Louis Borriello, Jr. of Columbia, long time best friends, Carlos (Wanda) Da Silva, Ernest (Salley) Warren, and Richard Travis, and several aunts and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Roseanna Borriello, and brother, Anthony Borriello.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 6:00 PM with military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens at a later date.
