Margaret’s gentle soul found pleasure in life’s simple pastimes. She was an avid fan of the Braves, enjoying the thrill of the game from the comfort of her living room. Margaret also enjoyed traveling to her grandson Kyles baseball games and cheering him on every time. Puzzle books were a source of joy and a testament to her sharp mind. In the kitchen, Margaret was a master of traditional cooking and canning, preserving not just food but also the essence of family heritage.
Her home was an open door to warmth, where the aroma of her cooking welcomed all. Margaret’s hands, ever busy in the service of those she loved, were the hands of a giver, a nurturer, and a provider. Her children and grandchildren grew up savoring the tastes of her lovingly prepared meals, and they will carry forward the recipes and memories of her kitchen.
Margaret’s legacy is not just in the meals she made or the games she watched; it is in the love she gave so freely and the gentle kindness that was her signature.
