Marion Robert Davis, 90, resident of Maury County, passed away Tuesday, December 26 of kidney failure at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Marion was born June 11, 1933 to the late Roy Davis and Flossie Campbell Davis.
He married Pauline Haywood Moore Davis on February 3, 1991. He was a dispatcher for the TVA for 36 years, he was a staff sergeant for the United States Air Force, he was a member of Gideon International, and he served as an usher for Riverside Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Pauline, his Step-Son Robert Paul Moore, Step-Daughter Mary Elizabeth (Jackie) Jernigan, brother Jackie (Jane) Wayne Davis and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Evelyn Dunn, Wanda Henry Grimes, and a brother Charles Davis.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 30, at 2:00 P.M. at Williamsport Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Steven Douglas and Jeff Perry officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 19.
