Mary Katherine Baker Davis, 96, died Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill in Columbia. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
She was born on July 4, 1929 in Columbia, TN to the late Willie Thomas Baker and the late Rachel Mai Baker. Mary worked for Publix Shirts for 48 years. She enjoyed yardwork, sewing and ironing for people. She loved her family, but above all she loved God.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice “Mimi” Ledford; sister, Billie Andrews Thomas; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; sister in law, Gail Hickman Baker; grandson and caregiver, Seth Ledford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lloyd Davis who passed away in 1982; son, Ronnie Randel Davis; sisters, Ruby Jones, Lorene Hickman; brothers Robert Lee Baker, Willie Thomas Baker Jr., Charles Edward Baker.
Active pallbearers will be friends and family.
