Matthew S. Fuller, a brave and indomitable spirit, passed away on June 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Despite the challenges he faced due to cerebral palsy, Matthew lived a life full of strength, love, and appreciation for the world around him. His unwavering determination and radiant spirit touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Born on April 16, 1992, Matthew’s journey was marked by resilience and a zest for life. Though physically limited, he never allowed his condition to define him. Matthew embraced each day with an unwavering positivity and an infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest of moments. His unwavering love for life was an inspiration to all.

Matthew found solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether it was feeling the warmth of the sun on his face or listening to the soothing sounds of nature, he reveled in the beauty of the world around him. His connection to nature was a source of peace and rejuvenation, allowing him to find strength and tranquility in its embrace. He was always kept company by his pet dog, Riki, who laid near him on his bedside.

Throughout his life, Matthew faced numerous obstacles with unparalleled courage and an unyielding spirit. His resilience was a testament to his remarkable character and an inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He demonstrated that true strength lies not in physical prowess but in the power of the human spirit.

Matthew will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his mother, Darinda Landgren, and his stepfather, Stephen Landgren, who provided unwavering love and support throughout his journey. He is also survived by his beloved brother, Daniel Knapp, whose companionship brought immense joy to his life.

Matthew’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of his grandmother, Peggy Smith, his grandfather, Mike Smith, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever remember his light and the impact he had on their lives.

In our memories, Matthew’s spirit will forever shine bright, reminding us of the incredible strength and love that resided within him. Though he may no longer be physically present, his legacy and the lessons he taught us will endure.

A special thank you to his nurse, Linda Davis, for dedicating 12 years of compassionate care.

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at a later date. May Matthew Fuller’s spirit find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and uplift us all.
