Michael Leland Sanders, 31, a resident of Culleoka and a mechanic for Automatic Transmission Repair, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Columbia.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Kane officiating. Michael was born on February 17, 1994 in Davidson County, Tennessee to Sean Michael Sanders and Shelby Dawn Carson Jones. He loved cars, motorcycles, racing and most of all his children. His family meant more to him than anything.
Survivors include his wife Kayla McKinney Sanders of Culleoka; three children, Addilynn Lane Sanders, London Leigh Sanders, and Emma Grace Kelley; father, Sean Michael Sanders of Smyrna; mother and step-father, Shelby Carson Jones (Bryan) of Culleoka; brother, Joshua Ramsay (Amanda) of Smyrna; sister, Brittney Dodson of Decherd; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Pat Trosdahl (Kerry) of Rockvale; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Betty Kidd (Ron) of Murfreesboro; mother in law and father in law, Christie and Roy McKinney of Centerville; three step-brothers, Christopher (Destiny) Jones, Matthew (Candice) Jones, and Justin Jones; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
