Nadine Redmond was born November 12, 1925, in Spokane, Washington, Nadine Redmond peacefully passed away in her sleep at Maury Regional Medical Center on October 3, 2024. Her life was marked by extraordinary grace and unwavering love.

Nadine spent most of her young life in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Nadine and her sisters were orphaned as young children and after some time in an orphanage, they were welcomed into a loving home on the farm of her Uncle Robert and Aunt Elsie English where she grew up, eventually moving to Southern California where she lived most of her life, raising her family and cherished her role as a mother to five children, her greatest joy. A retail accountant by profession, she retired from Woolworth Company after over 30 devoted years.

Cooking was one of her great loves, with pumpkin pie being her special delight. In her spare time, she found joy in crocheting and sewing, often crafting heartfelt gifts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nadine had a special bond with her cherished cat, Dirty Face, whose companionship brought her immense happiness. Her granddaughters were her closest companions, sharing many memorable shopping trips and lunch dates filled with laughter and love. Nadine was renowned for her wisdom, possessing an incredible memory that she generously shared through stories and advice, guiding her family with love.

She is survived by her children, Judith Medina, David (Pat) Redmond, Ronda Havlicheck, Susan (Greg) Stewart, and Thomas Redmond; her 11 grandchildren, Priscilla Gonzalez, Ramona (Joe Mesa) Medina, Alicia (Esteban) Legarrea, Jonathan Andres, Lesley Redmond, Sara Redmond, Regina Rodriguez, Lynette Foasberg, Brian (Shana) Stewart, Lindzie Stewart, and Jennifer (Jonathon) Cole; and over 40 great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Nadine is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur English and Minnie Mae Melville; her sisters, Betty Anderson and Beverly Stavig; her devoted companion John Henderson, her great-granddaughter, Jessica Mesa; and sons-in-law, John Arthur Medina and Rickey Havlicheck.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Medical Group of Columbia as well as the staff at Maury Regional Medical Center, and Compassus for their compassionate support.
