Patricia Annette Brown Gilliam Huey, 80, retired employee of Farm Bureau Insurance and resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Born April 25, 1943, in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Mayhue Brown and the late Bell Brown.
She was married to Jerry Thomas “Bill” Gilliam, the father of her children, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2000. In 2006, she married Harold Elton Huey who preceded her in death July 8, 2022. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Wayne (Lynn) Gilliam of Columbia; daughter, Janice (Kerry) Pruitt of Culleoka; grandchildren, Joshua (Bridget) Pruitt, Katie Lynn (Jacob) Buie; great-grandchild, Elliot Pruitt; sisters, Peggy (Stan) Robertson of Columbia; Deborah (Larry) Collins of Spring Hill; brothers, Harold (Margie) Brown of Florida; Terry Brown (John Eslick) of Alabama; brother-in-law, James Burns; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Farlow, Jennie Ring, and Judy Burns; great-grandson, Layton.
A private graveside service will be held at Rock Springs Cemetery with Pastor Don Richey officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday, October 2, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
