Patricia Joan Lewellen Owens, 90, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care.
Patricia was born on February 3, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to the late Ralph Lewellen and the late Helen Clayton Cook.
She was a homemaker and a retired secretary for B.F. Goodrich in Akron, Ohio. On December 24, 1954 she married Ralph Robert Owens.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 70 years Ralph Owens of Columbia; three children, Aaron (Regina) Owens of Columbia, Patty (Mike) Carson of Columbia and Ken (Kim) Owens of Lawrenceburg; sister Ruth Ann Dix of Portland, Oregon; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Patrick John “PJ” Carson of Columbia; sister Marilynn Copen of Barberton, Ohio; a brother Richard Lewellen of Detroit, Michigan.
