Patrick Joseph Bradley, age 52, resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at his residence.
Patrick was born September 8, 1969 in Cook County, Illinois and was the son of the late Peter Joseph Bradley and the late Kathleen Bradley.
At the young age of 18, he went to work at Cook County. He started training at 21 years old for the deputy academy. He worked in fugitive warrants and as a security guard at the White Sox Stadium. He even stood guard at Cook County cemetery. He was a Deputy Sherriff in Cook County, Illinois and surrounding Chicago areas.
Patrick married the love of his life, Cyndi Woodward Bradley on November 11, 2000. Some of his hobbies included golfing and watching movies. He loved baseball and enjoyed attending the baseball games. He enjoyed the outdoors, going on family vacations and playing the guitar. He will be remembered as a comical man that loved his family. He will be missed.
Along with his wife, Cyndi Bradley, he is survived by his daughters, Brittany (Matthew) Mysiewicz of Manteno, IL and Keely Bradley, son, Connor Bradley; brother, Jimmy Bradley of Midlohaion, IL; sisters, Mary (Don) Wilkens of FL and Kathy (Mike) Gavin of East, TN; and grandchildren, Courtney Fanson and Jessica Mysiewicz.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bradley.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 29th at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church with Father Daniel Reehil officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, August 28th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
