Paul Wayne Mitchell, age 63, passed away Tuesday, October 19th, 2021.
He was born on August 2nd, 1958 to the late Richard and Angelita Mitchell of Lansing, Michigan.
Paul was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 76. After dedicating over 36 hardworking years, Paul retired from General Motors to enjoy his new free time.
He was a member and served as an elder at Chalice Church in Columbia, TN.
Paul is the beloved husband to Tina (Brewer) Mitchell, and devoted father to Paul (Katie) Mitchell II, and Shina (Bryan) Cagle; Papa to Chase Kitchens-Mitchell, Jarrod Mitchell, Summer Mitchell, Evangelina Mitchell, Braxton Dean, Madison Cagle, Landen Platt, and Bennett Bonomo; Brother to Jeannie (Tom) Myers & Anna Mitchell; Aunt Carmen (Joe) Enriquez, Uncle Norman (Joyce) Mitchell and several cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Angelita Mitchell; grandson: Jaxson Dean; and brother: Eddie Mitchell.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Darryl Martin officiating. Paul will be taken to his final resting place at Polk Memorial Gardens.
