Howard Randy Fitzgerald, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home on October 8, 2025, in Columbia, Tennessee. He was born on May 17, 1943, to the late Clyde and Lucille Fitzgerald in Columbia, Tennessee.
Randy lived a full and hardworking life. He loved spending his days fishing and hunting, enjoying the simple pleasures of the outdoors. He was proud of his years working at Union Carbide and the friendships he made there.
He is survived by his sons, Todd Fitzgerald and Randy Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Courtney Potts, Kalee Thompson, Jack Fitzgerald, and Paige Sisk; and great-grandchildren, Chloe Anderson, Todd Anderson, Chandler Thompson, Kirk Thompson, Sammy Potts, and Alice Sisk.
Randy was lovingly known as “Pop” and will be remembered for his love for the outdoors and the joy he brought to those around him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Williams Funeral Home. Randy will be laid to rest at Santa Fe Cemetery.
