Rayetta Jean Smith, age 58, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on July 8, 1966, in Osage Beach, Missouri, Rayetta was the beloved daughter of Raymond and Yvonne Stewart Rayhart, Jr. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Rayetta had a passion for sewing, cooking, and baking—especially cakes. She had a natural green thumb and adored yellow roses. Her fondness for mockingbirds and hummingbirds reflected her gentle spirit.
Rayetta will be remembered as a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She possessed a servant’s heart and lived a life rooted in love and kindness.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Lacey Smith, Samantha (William) Sides, brothers, Michael (Tracey) Rayhart, Ray (Leigh) Patterson, sisters, Debbie (Lee) Roberson, Robyn (Rick) Silvey, grandchildren, Hannah Wallace, Shaelynn Wallace, Courtney Wallace, Emilee Wilson, Matthew Angel, great grandchild, Oliver Harmon, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Rayhart, III, son, Daniel Tomblinson, and the father of her children, Curtis Smith. She had a servant’s heart.
