Renee Ann Neal Palakovic, age 52, resident of Culleoka, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Renee was born on June 18, 1970, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to Braynard Neal and Carolyn Weary Neal of Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania.
On October 8, 1988, she married Darian Palakovic. Amid her accomplishments, Renee became the first female director of Federal Programs in Pennsylvania. She was also the founder of Christmas Treasures in Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania. Renee had most recently enrolled at Carson-Newman University.
She was a faithful Christian and member of the Shermans Dale United Methodist Church in Shermans Dale. Thrifting and gardening were her favorite hobbies. Above all, she loved and cherished her children and grandson.
Along with her parents and husband, she is survived by her son, Corey “Jennifer” Palakovic of Culleoka, Tennessee, daughter, Madison Elizabeth Palakovic (Hunter Gray) of Lebanon, Tennessee, brother, Todd David Neal, sister, Stacy Neal, and grandson, Michael Joseph Palakovic.
Renee is preceded in death by her first born son, Brandon Michael Palakovic.
A celebration of Renee’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating along with family and friends to share memories. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service hour. Another celebration of life service will be held in her hometown, Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania at a later date.
