Robin Lynn Adkins, age 68, resident of Culleoka, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at her residence from an extended illness.
Robin was born on February 7, 1955, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Patricia Ann Hock and the late Chuck Thompson.
Robin was everyone’s favorite bartender throughout her life. She owned several bars in Columbia including The Hawg Pen and Hooligan’s.
Robin was also well known for her famous Christmas cookies. She made sure everyone had a delivery from family, friends, and even the mailman.
Robin was always first to help anyone in need with benefits, fundraisers and poker runs. If you ever needed anything, she was always there to lend a helping hand. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was married to Dennis Adkins for 22 years. He was her caregiver until the end.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Jeremy (Susan) Vance of Mansfield, Ohio and Kali (Aaron) Kalliainen, three stepchildren, Amy Odom, Chris and Jaren Adkins, sister, Terri Myers of Mansfield, Ohio, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Floyd Hock, who raised her, two brothers, Jeff Hock and Scott Thompson.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. https://www.tnfunerals.com
Pallbearers will be Jaren Adkins, Chris Adkins, Jeremy Vance, Tyler Vance-Grose, Chad Hock and Aaron Kalliainen.
