Roger Glen Wilmoth, age 72, husband of Angela Wilmoth and resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday at Maury Regional Medical Center on February 12, 2022, with complications from diabetes.
Roger was born on August 14, 1949 in Washburn, Tennessee, and was the son of late Coil and Stella Wilmoth.
Roger moved to Auburn Hills, Michigan in 1967 to work for Pontiac Motors. In 1989, he moved to Tennessee to work for GM Saturn Plant and retired in 1998. Roger was also the owner of Wilmoth Limousine Service in Columbia, Tennessee. In 2000 he fostered many foster children.
He was survived by his sisters Linda (Bobby) Majors, Diane (Glenn) Cupp, and Carol (Jerry) Epperson of Tazewell, TN. Children Vance Wilmoth Sr. of Lake Orion, MI, Jessica Wilmoth of Madison, TN, Derrick Wilmoth, Ronnie Wilmoth of Gallatin, TN, Renee Wilmoth, Gauge Wilmoth of Columbia, TN. Roger was a proud Grand Parent of Vance Jr., Jayla, Neilasia, Neil Jr., Jessiah, and Zaevien.
There will be a memorial service in East Tennessee at a later date.
