Sara Ellen Jones, age 34, a resident of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 19, 2021, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Eric Redd officiating celebrating the life of Sara and her sister, Sammy Jo. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Sara was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and was the daughter of William Thomas Wylie and Donna Cartret Wylie. She graduated high school and worked as a nurse tech. Having a servants heart she cared for elderly people. She enjoyed photography and motorcycle riding. She was a member of Straight Clownin MC and Southside Assassin MC.
Along with her parents, Sara is survived by her children: William Chapman and Ashlyn Jones; step-children: Jackson Baugh, Kane Jones, and Bentley Jones; brothers: Mitch (Kristina) Wylie of Mississippi and Carl Krieg, IIII (Bonnie) of Summertown; sisters: Heather (Curtis) Lemay of Pulaski and Kristen “Ashley” White (Gene) of North Carolina; grandmother: Carolyn Wylie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband: David Jones, Jr., and grandparents: Mark Wylie, Garland, and Carolyn Cartret.
