Sylvia Marie Wolfe, age 84, a resident of Santa Fe, Tennessee, previously of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Life Care Center of Columbia, Tennessee.
Born on December 3, 1937, in Alleghany County, Virginia, Sylvia was the daughter of the late L. Harrold Wickline and the late Mable E. Clarke Wickline. She married James Wolfe on July 4, 1956; he preceded her in death in 1983. Sylvia was a devout Christian who loved repairing antique dolls.
She is survived by her sons, James Wolfe of Santa Fe, TN, Randall (Nancy) Wolfe of Canton, MI, sisters, Glenda Long of North Carolina, Cathy Wickline of Kentucky, grandchildren, Rebecca Wolfe, Andrew (Jacqueline) Wolfe, and great-grandchildren, Makayla Wolfe and Abigail Wolfe.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny Wickline and Raymond Wickline.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
The family will celebrate her life with a private memorial service at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.
