Timothy-Irwin-Moore

Timothy Irwin Moore, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many, left this world peacefully on May 16, 2025, at his home in Linden, Tennessee. Born on November 18, 1952, in Montebello, California, Timothy’s life was a testament to the love and laughter he shared generously with all who knew him.

Timothy, the son of JB Moore and Hassie Patterson Smith, grew up under the nurturing guidance of his mother and beloved stepfather, Charlie Smith. His early life in California was filled with the warmth of a close-knit family, which included his sister Judy Collins and his late brother Robert Moore. The bonds he formed in his youth were a strong foundation for the wonderful life he built.

A man of service and care, Timothy enlisted in the United States Navy and dedicated years to his country as a Corpsman (nurse). His compassion and commitment to the well-being of others were evident in everything he did. After his military service, he continued to touch lives through his work, leaving a lasting impression on those he cared for.

Timothy leaves behind to cherish the many memories they have made, his wife Mrs. Theresa Moore; as well as his daughter Kimberly Adams, son, Jonathan Ian Moore; and stepsons Alan Lee Hedrick and Gene Wallace Fox. The joy of his life was amplified by the laughter and energy of his eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom he adored.

Beyond his family, Timothy had a passion for music that was as deep as it was infectious. He was a talented craftsman, making and playing guitars with a skill that could only be described as artistry. His voice, both in song and in humor, could light up a room, echoing the loving and funny spirit he was known for. Timothy’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through when he owned TNT Sounds in Texas.

Those who knew Timothy will remember a man who lived life to the fullest, with a smile that was as genuine as his desire to make others happy.
