Mr. Tommy Ray Westmoreland, 66, a resident of Dog Creek Road in Santa Fe, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Westmoreland will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Josh McCord and Bro. James Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born January 30, 1955 he was the son of the late George Tommy Westmoreland and the late Mary Lillian Kelley Westmoreland. Mr. Westmoreland was a self-employed logger and farmer. He loved bush hogging, taking care of his cows, and sports.
Survivors include his sisters, Sandra Faye (Garry) McCord, Brenda Kay (Steve) Barnes, and Nancy Jane Westmoreland (William England) all of Primm Springs; nieces, Stevie Barnes (Josh Nollner) of Charlotte and Bethanie (Trai) Davenport of White House; nephews, Kyle Barnes of Primm Springs and Josh (Kristen) McCord of Hickman County; several great-nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Brian Westmoreland, Chris Webb, John Morton, Jr., Kyle Barnes, Josh McCord, Ben Malugin, Larry Flowers, Ricky Morton, Jeff Potts and Guy Potts. Honorary pallbearers will be friends from Waffle House in Dickson & Columbia, friends from CO-OP, Sheriff Bucky Rowland, Ronnie Burns, and Jason Saunders.
