William “Bill” Joseph Hossbach, 80, resident of Columbia, and retired Lab Analyst for Swarco, passed away on December 28, 2023, at his residence.
Born July 19, 1943 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Martha Hymes Hossbach.
Bill was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1966. On October 15, 1966, he married Doris Johnson, the love of his life, enjoying 57 wonderful years together.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Robert) Petty; granddaughter, Amanda (Ryan) Berlin; grandson, Christopher Hill; brothers, Raymond Alexander, and Daniel (Deb) Hossbach; sister, Annie Walton (Michael Sweet); and great-grandsons, Noah Berlin, and William “Willy” Berlin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Central Christian Church, 701 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401, on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements.
