OBITUARY: William ‘Billy’ Graham Browning


William “Billy” Graham Browning, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Billy was born on March 15, 1982, to William Ray Browning and Maryetta Johnson Martin in Detroit, Michigan.

Billy was a busy man. He was always finding ways to stay active. He was hands on when it came to working on cars and woodworking. He could make any type of furniture from bed frames to all sorts of tables. His favorite and only type of wood he would work with was Amish Cedar. Everything he made, he took pride in. It was all beautiful pieces of work.

Billy loved his family dearly. He loved chasing his little one around the yard with a hose and having him do it right back to Billy. Billy was also a very giving man. He would help anyone he could, whether it be a tank of gas or the shirt off his own back. He also cherished his work family. He enjoyed talking to them and everyone thought it was safe and judgement freezone when talking to Billy. He will be deeply missed by his family and his friends.

Billy leaves his legacy in his children: Kaitlyn Browning (Luke Lindsey), Colby Browning, Titus Browning and Gavin Panduren; fiancé: Kristin Panderun; parents: Maryetta (Tony) Martin and Bill (Gloria) Browning; siblings: Wendy Browning, Isaiah Browning, Gretchen (Philip) Bunting, and Hans-David (Ashley) Hartwig; granddaughter: Tinsley Lindsey; nephews: Zachary Jones and Maximus Love; his Lee Company family and his furbabies: Twinkie, Mama, Millie, and Blue.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home Columbia, Tennessee. A service for Billy will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Bro. Bob Vassar officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
