A corn field caught on fire in Maury County on Saturday.
Maury County Fire Department responded to a corn field on Hampshire Pike just before 2pm. Units arrived to find that a combine had caught on fire causing a fire in a cut corn field.
The combine was extinguished by the farmer.
MCFD’s brush trucks and tanker contained the field fire aided by a plow the farmer brought out.
