The Columbia Police Department is currently investigating an active incident in the Neely’s Mill area along Trotwood Avenue in Columbia.
Authorities say officers are on scene and the situation remains under investigation. Officials are asking the public to avoid the immediate area while crews work.
Police added that there is no known threat to the public at this time. Additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
