June 12, 2024 – UPDATE: Inspectors have determined the Port Royal Road bridge is safe to travel on. The crack underneath the bridge that was spotted Wednesday morning has been identified as a cosmetic issue and is not a structural problem.

June 12, 2024 – Port Royal Road south of Saturn Parkway is closed due to a crack visible in the bridge over Rutherford Creek.
City of Spring Hill crews are on the scene working to determine the severity of the damage.
Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Tom Lunn Road toward Kedron Road.
Northbound traffic on Port Royal Road will be required to turn around and take Kedron Road to proceed north.
