The Covid-19 pandemic moved people to be more aware of our overall health. Our daily choices and habits from what we eat to how we choose to spend our free time all add up to paint the picture of our general welfare. There are said to be four dimensions of wellness: Spiritual, Physical, Emotional and Social. As I was reflecting on how Covid-19 has changed the landscape of our society in so many ways, I could not ignore the fact that this pandemic has revealed how all four of these aspects cater to not only an individual’s health but also a larger picture of society’s health. I couldn’t resist diving headfirst into our community to discover ways to promote all four dimensions of wellness for all of us to enjoy.

Spiritual Health

Spiritual health comes in many forms, ranging from a solid home church to yoga in the park. Although some of the below overlap into physical health as well, their weight is heavy in the spiritual element so I’ve decided to categorize them here.
