Maury County Fire Department responded to a serious vehicle accident on Thursday, November 20, at 11:41 a.m. on Sulphur Springs Branch Road, where one driver was trapped following the collision.
Squad 32, Engines 24 and 31, Rescue 21, Safety 20, and OPS 20 all responded to the scene. Upon arrival, crews found two patients, both in critical condition, with one still trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters carefully removed the driver’s side and front passenger doors to safely extricate the patient and provide necessary care on scene.
Both patients were then transported by Maury EMS to a trauma center for further treatment. Emergency officials praised the quick response and teamwork of all units involved in the rescue.
