Maury County Water Systems (MCWS) and Columbia Power & Water Systems (CPWS) continues to address water main breaks around Maury County; however, they reported via social media that they are not experiencing any loss in system pressure which would lead to a boil water notice.
The current warmer and drier weather offers an opportunity for MCWS and CPWS to notice any wet areas that may represent leaks that could lead to service interruptions. Residents are asked to report any leaks so they can be repaired before this weekend, when rain is expected. Leaks can be undetected in rainfall.
The warmer weather also means residents no longer need to drip faucets.
