October 24, 2023 – Congratulations to two Powerball players, one in Murfreesboro and one in Clarksville, who won $250,000 from the drawing held last night, Oct. 23, 2023.
The lucky players matched four out of five white balls plus the red Powerball to win the base prize of $50,000. And since the players added the Power Play feature for an extra dollar and the Power Play number drawn was five, the prize was quintupled to $250,000.
Before Powerball numbers are drawn, a Power Play number (2, 3, 4, 5 or 10) is randomly selected. The 10 multiplier is only available for selection when the advertised annuity jackpot is $150 million or less. If you win any non-jackpot prize (except 5 of 5), your regular prize amount will be multiplied by the Power Play number drawn. If you’ve added Power Play to your ticket and match all five white balls, you win $2 million instantly!
The winning tickets were sold at:
—Discount Tobacco Outlet, B South Church St. in Murfreesboro
–West Fork Market, 1475 Tiny Town Rd. in Clarksville
No additional information is available until the prize is claimed.
