Mr. Ronald Eugene Roan, age 61, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021.
A celebration of life memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Bellafant Tabernacle Church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on February 14, 1960, in Maury County, Ronald was the son of the late William O’Dean McClain and the late Gloria Darlene Roan. He enjoyed fishing, picking turnip greens, and cooking. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding motorbikes.
He is survived by his wife, Tawona Rochelle, sons, Rontez (Jamie) Roan, Jamorea Roan, daughter, Rontazia Sparkman, grandchildren, Jeremiah, Sidrah, and Kora Roan, siblings, Michael Parks, Vette Parks, Jamecca Armstrong, Ezelle McClain, William McClain, Harold Whitaker, Pam McClain, Vicki McClain, Tammy McClain, Rita Robertson, aunt, Shirley Ray, great aunt, Inez Johnson, mother in law, Jean Bailey, sister in law, Tammy Fields, brother in law, Eric Armstrong, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Roan.
