Mrs. Felicia Marie Machleit, age 74, wife of August “Gus” Machleit, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 21, 1947, in Eccles, West Virginia, Felicia was the daughter of the late Ardee Thomas Jones and the late Mary Katherine Pacifico Jones. She married Gus Machleit in 1969. She previously worked as a cook and cosmetologist. Felicia enjoyed fishing and was an all-around loyal and happy person. She was a loving wife and mother who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Gus Machleit of Nashville, TN, daughter, Katherine (William Dale) Seay of Athens, AL, brother, Lucian Richardson, grandchildren, Joseph Machleit, Jesse Wasserburger, Sean Wasserburger, Megan Laney, Caitlin Marie’ann Machleit, Devin Machleit, Elizabeth Byron, great-grandchildren, Marilyn Best, Aubrey Wasserburger, J.D. Machleit, Liam Ruff, cousin, Michael Richardson, and beloved dog, Sassy.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Helen Trump, and uncles, Henry Trump and Nathan Pacifico.
