The City of Columbia is proud to announce Ra’Kwaan Wilson as the September Employee of the Month!
Ra’Kwaan joined the Parks and Recreation Department in 2019 as a Recreation Specialist, in 2020 he quickly moved up to Recreation Programmer due to his great work ethic and excellent people skills. Since being hired, Ra’Kwaan has created and assisted in many new and exciting programs. He implemented an Employee Anniversary Recognition Program to improve employee retention, assisted with Holiday Lights In The Park, managed the Summer Outreach program, and created several Adult and Youth Sports Leagues. Ra’Kwaan is always willing to help out in any situation and strives to do a great job every day!
