Officer Sean McNally was named as the Columbia Police Department’s Officer of the Month for July 2023.
On July 4th, 2023, Ofc. McNally investigated a suspicious vehicle that was discovered unoccupied and determined stolen.
Later in the shift, Ofc. McNally assisted with a traffic stop of another stolen vehicle where two offenders were arrested.
During Ofc. McNally’s investigation of the first unoccupied stolen vehicle he collected evidence that allowed him to positively identify and connect one of the arrested offenders. Ofc. McNally’s attention to detail and thoroughness of his investigation led to locating two stolen vehicles and the arrest of the offender(s).
