While the circus has changed from the time when it came to a town on a train and performed under a big top, they are still filled with a sense of magic and wonder. The All American Circus, a real family circus, will be returning to the National Guard Armory beginning on February 23 in Columbia, Tennessee for four performances over three days.

Produced by Oscar Garcia and Stardust Circus Entertainment, the All American Circus features the Rosales family. Carmen and Jorge Rosales and their children bring a full line-up of traditional circus acts to the ring, including the Globe of Death, the aerial Corde Lisse performed high above the audience, as well as juggling, balancing and the must-have clowns.

Carmen was born in Mexico and came to the United States in 1988. She has never worked outside of the circus, and she loves being on the road with her family. She began working for a circus with her husband Jorges on a dangerous perch pole act, but she has mastered a sweeping range of circus disciplines. And she and her husband have gone on to teach her children a variety of circus acts.

“The Rosales family smoothly display meticulous timing and remarkable coordination in their five-member juggling act,” says their website.

A Kid’s Zone opens an hour before the circus begins offering an assortment of different activities based on the location. They can include bounce houses, face painting, fun photo ops, pony rides and circus treats like cotton candy. There is an additional charge for activities in the Kids Zone.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the door. All onsite payments must be made using cash — no credit cards, debit cards or online payments will be accepted.
