Come out to celebrate Juneteenth at the community cookout that will include speakers, vendors, free food, games, prizes, and more! The organizer, JUICE, is an all volunteer organization whose mission is to empower the community by showcasing those who are aiming to accomplish their dreams. Their goal is to change mindsets by operating in love, representing unity, and highlighting success as living proof that if you believe it, you can achieve it. As part of their mission to help grow our community, in 2017 we started an Annual Juneteenth Celebration that will bring awareness to community needs, give a platform to local entrepreneurs and artists, and encourage community unity with local groups and volunteers coming together to ensure success. They aim to make Juneteenth a part of everyone’s family tradition.
