The Maury County Fire Department (MCFD) responded to two vehicle extrications on Saturday.
The first occurred at 8:42 a.m. on Theta Pike, where crews removed a windshield to free an occupant.
The second happened at 11:15 p.m. on Double Branch Road. Rescue teams worked to free two occupants, one of whom was heavily trapped. Both were transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center by Maury Regional EMS.
Franklin firefighter Bizwell, who heard the crash from his home, assisted on the scene. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
