Born on August 30, 1948, in Lawrenceburg, Jane was the daughter of the late Raymond Lee Patton and the late L. June Rawdon Patton. She was a 1966 graduate of Summertown High School and a homemaker. She married Dewey Lee Staggs on December 26, 1966, and had two sons, Anthony “Tony” Joel Staggs and David Lee Staggs. She enjoyed planting, cooking, and reading- especially her Bible. There were always notes of encouragement and scripture posted around her house.
In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by her sister, Ruth Carolyn Blake, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lyndia Faye Giles, brother, Dwight Lee Patton, niece, Misty Massey, and nephews, Jeff Giles, Tory Blake, and Seth Daniel.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Fisher Pharmacy & Gifts and the staff at Lori James office.
