Billy Don “Donnie” Robertson, 72, beloved husband, father, brother and salesman for Roberts Toyota and resident of Columbia, Tennessee, died Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Dollar and Reverend Tommy Vann officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkes Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born September 18, 1948 in Louisville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Hermon Madison Robertson and the late Francis McKinley Robertson He served in the United States National Guard. A family man, Mr. Robertson loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed working in his yard. Mr. Robertson loved the Lord and was of Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married June 24, 2017, Tammy Scott Robertson of Columbia; daughters, Juliet (Blake) Johnson of Franklin; Suzette (Stuart) White of Franklin; son, Donnie Robertson of Alcoa; daughter, Stephanie (Zach) Davis of Columbia; son, Will Riley of Hampshire; and grandchildren, Gracie Johnson, Madison Johnson, Madalyn Robertson, Braden Robertson, Trent Robertson, Samantha White, and Remi White; siblings, Patty Ruth (Cecil) Kemp; Sister-in-law, Kay Robertson and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James E. Robertson, and Perry W. Robertson.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include employees of Roberts Toyota.
