Jackie Demone Dobbins, age 57, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jackie was born on July 4, 1964, in Maury County and was the son of the late James Dobbins, Jr. and the late Betty Satterfield Dobbins. Because of his love of fireworks, it was not a coincidence that he was born on Independence Day. He loved listening to music and cooking and was an excellent pool player. Jackie was an avid sports fan, especially the Tennessee Titans and Tennessee Volunteers.
He is survived by his sister, Lisa (Ricky) Armstrong of Columbia, niece, Alicia Smith (Quinton Walker) of Columbia, great-niece, Zamiyah Bush, cousins, Daniela (Eric) Lacy, Aletha Alderson, Elaine Reeves, Sylvia (Tony) Hatton, special relative, Jaquelyn Morgan, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Garland Brown, Orlando Alderson, Rico Alderson, Desmond Armstrong, Fred Stone, Dennis Hall, and Quinton Walker.
