Joe H. Roberts, Jr., age 71, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Magnolia Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
Born on June 19, 1951, in Maury County, Joe was the son of the late Joe Howard Roberts, Sr. and the late Katherine Watson Roberts.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Joe worked for Tom Brown at Cemetery Memorials for over twenty-five years and was the best artist they ever had. When Joe was fourteen years of age, he painted a picture of David cutting off Goliath’s head and won second place! He loved fishing, working on cars, and going to auctions.
He is survived by his brother, David (Darlene) Roberts of Shelbyville, sister, Kathy Roberts of Pulaski, first cousin, James Watson of Culleoka, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka. Heritage
