John Gardner Copeland, Jr. age 52, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Williamson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 26th at 4:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan McMichael officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday, October 25th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
John was born February 22, 1969 in Fayetteville and was the son of the late John Gardner Copeland, Sr., and the late Karen Freeman Copeland. He served our country in the United States Air Force and attended First Family Baptist Church in Columbia. John was a very loyal friend to many and always ready and willing to help others. He was always putting others before himself. He enjoyed working at Insulation Services of Mt. Pleasant and was an avid hunter. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister, Alicia (Richie) Hickman of Columbia; fiancé, Shannon Denise Dodson Jett of Columbia; nieces, Madison (Geran) Gideon of Columbia and Kara Hickman of Culleoka; and nephew, Blake Hickman of Culleoka.
Pallbearers will be all the employees of the Insulating Services of Mt. Pleasant.
