Joshua Cain McCormack, 35, self-employed cabinet builder and resident of Columbia, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Davidson County.
Born February 21, 1987 in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, he was the son of Timothy Joe “Tim” McCormack and Laura Ruth Branson McCormack.
Josh was known for giving one hundred percent in anything, being very generous, and always wanting to help others. He enjoyed being outdoors, was always up for anything. He loved his children. Josh was of Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, Tim (April) McCormack of Columbia; and Laura McCormack of Merrillville, Indiana; survivors include his children, Skyler McCormack of Columbia; Janey McCormack of Pulaski; Aerabella McCormack of Columbia; brother and sisters, Angela McCormack-Wiley of Columbia; Anastasia McCormack of Muncie, Indiana; Joseph (Katie) McCormack of Columbia; Tabitha McCormack (Krist Deutsch) Of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brian Gregory officiating. An inurnment will be held at a later date in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be his family and friends.
