Lavinia Clark Bell, 83, resident of Columbia, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on August 18, 1940, in Saint. Petersburg, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Henry Terrell Clark and the late Dorcas McKennon Clark.
Mrs. Bell loved animals and in her younger years she raised Tennessee Walking Horses, placing in several competitions, and Doberman Pinchers. She was also a genealogy buff, and spent many hours researching her heritage. Mrs. Bell was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of almost forty years, Timothy Bell; daughter, Sonya Kaye Brown; grandson, Jimmy Brown; granddaughters, Jasmine Brown, and Whitney Brown; 4 great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Lavinia will be dearly missed in this life, Timothy loved her with all his heart, she was the loveliest person he had ever known.
