Lovey Faye Cecil Frierson was born on November 8, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, to Eugene T. Cecil and Cora L. Coleman Holt. She entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2023.
Faye attended Maury County Public Schools and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Claiborne and Hughes Nursing Home in Franklin, TN. Faye enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time with her grandchildren, going to the casinos, and shopping. She entered into Holy Matrimony on June 8, 2017, to her beloved Billy Frierson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene T. Cecil and Cora L. Coleman Holt, daughter, Darlisha Cecil, brother, Arthur (Nita) T. Cecil, grandmother, Lovey Porter, brother in law, Roy E. Cobble, uncles, Thomas Coleman, Lacy Coleman, nieces, Lauren Cecil, Keota Faulkner, and best friends, Kay Hood and Rosetta Stewart.
Faye leaves behind to cherish her precious memories, her devoted husband, Billy Frierson, three sons, Willie (Marsha) Earl Cecil, Terrance Cecil, Demarcus Cecil, her brother, David Cecil, sisters, Roberta Dobbins, Sue Cobble, Ossie Holt, Elaine Holt, brothers in law, John (Valerie) Frierson, William (Karen) James Frierson, Joe (Glenda) Frierson, Pete (Melinda) Frierson, Randy Frierson, Douglas (Elaine) Frierson, Jeffery Frierson. Faye also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, Javin Cecil, Juan Flake, Tylon Martin, De’Montre Frierson, Tayshawn Golden, La’Angela Cecil, Tecionna Braden, Zayden Conner, A’Keliona Cecil, Devin, Tyreke, Timothy, Amari, Chloe, Zamia Gentry, and Kwanta Williams. She also leaves devoted friends, Twynetta Booze, Della Cecil, Portia Liles, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with the visitation from 3:00 – 4:00 PM.
