Mark Sisson of Mount Pleasant, TN was called home on August 9th, 2021 at his residence.

A celebration of life will take place at the; Mt. Pleasant Community center: 501 Gray Lane. Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474 on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 5:00 -10:00 PM CT. Please bring memories, stories, and any photos to share with friends and family.

Born in Kettering, Ohio on September 24, 1971; Mark was the son of the late Jimmy Melvin Sisson and the late Judy Faye Sisson-Watson. He lived in Ohio until he moved to Columbia in 1988 where he then graduated from Columbia Central High School in the class of 1991. Mark was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. He loved to work on motor vehicles, turning trash into treasure…especially when it came to Ford trucks. True to his southern home, Mark was an avid gun collector and hunter, but he never lost sight of his midwestern roots. Mark was never afraid to show his allegiance to THE Ohio State Buckeyes, barking an “O-H” anytime he could. He also loved the Tennessee Titans and giving any of his competing family members a hard time. Mark always loved to be on the forefront of trends…claiming to be a fan of things before they were “cool” …like skateboarding. However, one thing that Mark never needed validation on was his ability to be a great man and father. The most important thing in Mark’s life was his children, Glen and Lilly were his everything. He loved them more than life itself. Mark always wanted to help others — he was first in line to stand up for the people that he loved, and he loved them fiercely. He will be sorely missed by many!

Mark is survived by his very special friend and life partner: Michelle Roley and her two children Alex and Michael Clark; Son: Alvin Glen Desmond Sisson (Nicole); Daughter: Lillian Katherine Sisson; Grandson: Ezra Carl McFual; Brother: David Wayne Sisson Sr. (Sheila); Nephews: David Wayne Sisson Jr. (Caitlin), Brandon Michael Sisson; Numerous cousins. And many lifetime friends, including Mark’s “brother from another mother” Chris Rooker.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
