Mrs. Paula Marie Johnson Pinkard, 52, a resident of Knud Drive in Columbia, died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pinkard will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Hollow Cemetery. Born November 29, 1968, she was the daughter of the late James Leslie Johnson and the late Othelia Creel Johnson Pinkard. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed at Kroger for nine years. On March 15, 2003 she married Roy Pinkard. Mrs. Pinkard loved watching cooking shows and soap operas and spending time with her grandson. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Leslie Matlock and Harley Beard; son, Tony Pinkard; step-son, Arthur Meadows; grandson, Roman Hambright; granddaughter, Elizabeth Anderson; step-father, Ray Pinkard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dwayne Johnson.
