Randy Simmons, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Randy was born on March 6, 1962, in Maury County, Tennessee to Betty Simmons and the late Barney Ray Simmons.
Randy was a kind man with a sweet heart. He enjoyed collecting stuff as well as working on things. He was an avid music lover and when he was younger, he used to play in honkey tonks with his parents.
Randy is survived by his wife, Yvonne Simmons; two daughters, Jessica Simmons and Cristy McClain; two sons, Jesse Davis and Daniel Eastep; mother Betty Simmons; four brothers and two sisters; and grandchildren Amber McClain, Leland McClain, and Emmitt McClain.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Randy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
A service for Randy will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee with Martin Vidal officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Randy will be laid to rest at Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Daniel Eastep, Howard McClain, Jesse Davis, Leland McClain, Wayne Simmons, and Alex.
