Rebecca Jean Boshers, age 88, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at her home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, surrounded by loved ones.
Rebecca was born May 19, 1933, in Iron City, Tennessee, to the late James and Ellie Roberts.
Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a friend, and mom to everyone she met. She enjoyed being able to be a homemaker for her family, she helped work on the farm, loved flowers, hummingbirds, yard sales, and auctions. She enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers and oil lamps.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Wright, Rick (Brenda) Boshers, Tony Boshers, David (Peggy) Boshers; eighteen grandkids; thirty-four great-grandkids; one great-great-grandchild; special niece and nephew that looked at her as a mom: Diane Collins and Gary Roberts.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Floyd Boshers; children: Robert “Butch” Boshers, James Malcolm Boshers, Elmer “Pete” Lee Boshers; Granddaughter: Kimberly Michelle Boshers; son-in-law: Jim Wright; daughters-in-law: Pam Boshers, and Gwen Boshers; and fifteen siblings.
The family will be receiving friends and family on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, starting at 2:00 p.m. with Dickey Lindsey officiating. She will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery following the service.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Boshers, Quinton Boshers, Justin Boshers, Rick Boshers, Dylan Boshers, Jason Boshers, Daniel Eastep, and Johnny Davis.
