Thomas Deon Braden, age 51, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away tragically on Monday, May 27, 2024.
A native of Columbia, Deon was born on June 8, 1972, and was the son of the late Tommy Lee Braden and the late Shirley Hardin.
He was educated in the Maury County Public School System and was a member of the Southside Assassins Motorcycle Club for thirteen years. Known for his hard work, Deon was dedicated to his career in the construction industry. He found pleasure in building things and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his children, Shaniqua Braden, Treon Bright, Kanye Conway, devoted companion, Deborah Bright, siblings, Michelle Himes, Tomika Blair, Scott Hardin, Ricky (Kathy B.) Braden, Jefferey Braden, Klevin Braden, Joy Braden, Jamie Braden, beloved grandchildren, Samiyah Booker, Jocceon Kirkwood, Treon Bright, Jr., Jocyeon Bright, Kaylani Bright, Kaleah Bright, aunts, Brenda (John) Braden-Glenn and Doris (C.J.) Williams, uncle, John Braden, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Antonio Braden and Rico Braden, and uncle, Billy Braden.
A funeral service to celebrate Deon’s life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Rosemont Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. https://www.tnfunerals.com
