Thomas Granville “TG” Calton, born on June 21st, 1985 in Columbia, TN, passed away on April 3rd, 2023, at the age of 37.
He is survived by his twin daughters, Erica and Shiloh, and Angel Greene, as well as his brother, Richie (Brandy) Calton, his father, Homer, and stepmother, Charlyn, his mother, Sandra Hyde, and the mother of his children: Elizabeth Greene.
Thomas was preceded in death by his stepfather, Clyde.
His most cherished things in his life were his daughters. He had a notebook full of stories to leave them.
Thomas was a passionate outdoorsman who loved fishing on the Buffalo River. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV, with a particular love for wrestling. In his final days, he made sure to have his laptop with him to watch sports.
Thomas battled cancer for a long time, but he fought bravely to the end. Despite his illness, he remained positive and continued to enjoy life as much as possible. He will be remembered as a kind and loving father, brother, and son.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A service for Thomas will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with Tony Pogue officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to the start of the service Friday, April 7, 2023 at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Thomas will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Honorary pallbearers at Thomas’s funeral will be his cousins.
Pallbearers will be Joe Calton, Daniel Williams, Brent Blackwood, Josh Runnels, John Adkins and Ricky Mabry.
